Introduction to the investment
On 2 September 2024, the official opening of the new modular kindergarten No. 447, located at 8 Silnikowa Street in Warsaw, took place. This project, carried out by our company Unihouse S.A., is another example of the growing popularity of modular kindergartens, which, thanks to their technology, allow for the fast and efficient construction of modern educational facilities. The Modular Kindergarten in Warsaw is a response to the growing demand for innovative solutions in the education sector.
Modular kindergarten construction process
We started work on this modular kindergarten in 2022, using modern modular technology. Our experience and advanced technological solutions allowed us to significantly shorten the construction time. Each building module was prepared in our factory and then assembled on site. We used natural materials such as wood, gypsum and mineral wool, which provide excellent acoustic and thermal insulation, which is crucial for the comfort of the children attending the kindergarten.

Architectural details of the modular kindergarten
The author of the architectural design of the modular kindergarten is Oskar Amiri of the design office ‘AMIRI architekci’. The modular kindergarten building was designed with the specific needs of the youngest users in mind. The educational spaces have been carefully considered to ensure the safety and comfort of the children. The design of the modular kindergarten also takes into account aesthetic aspects that fit harmoniously into the surroundings.
We have used renewable energy sources in the building - photovoltaic panels that will produce electricity for the needs of the facility. This will significantly reduce energy intake from external sources, making the building more low carbon. In addition, the appropriate design, the insulation of the external walls and the location of the windows on the south side support the energy efficiency of the kindergarten.
Official Opening - 2 September 2024
The opening ceremony of the modular kindergarten No. 447 in Warsaw took place on 2 September 2024, bringing together representatives of local authorities, parents, children and Unihouse S.A. employees. The ribbon-cutting officially inaugurated the new modular kindergarten, which immediately aroused great interest among the participants. Representatives of the municipal authorities and the management of the kindergarten expressed their satisfaction with the completed investment and emphasised the importance of modern modular kindergartens in the development of education.
Integration picnic for children and parents
The official opening ceremony of the modular kindergarten was followed by an integration picnic, which provided an opportunity for children, parents and kindergarten staff to get to know each other better. Such events are particularly important in newly opened modular kindergartens, as they foster community building and create a friendly atmosphere. The picnic was packed with activities, such as outdoor games and activities, which helped integrate all participants.
Location and Functionality of the Modular Kindergarten
The Modular Kindergarten is located at 8 Silnikowa Street, in a dynamically developing part of Warsaw. The building has been designed with maximum functionality in mind - we offer modern teaching rooms, spacious social facilities and safe playgrounds. The kindergarten is equipped with its own kitchen with facilities, which makes it possible to prepare healthy meals on site.
We have dedicated the area on the south-west side of the building as a recreational space for children, where there are three independent playgrounds suitable for different age groups. In addition, we have built three rain gardens in the outdoor area of the site, into which rainwater from the building's roof drains. These solutions are part of our approach to green and sustainable investments.

Thanks to the use of modular technology, we were able to quickly and efficiently create a facility that meets the highest standards of quality and comfort.
