Unihouse has held a training course called "Environment-friendly construction - designing modular buildings with a wooden frame construction in Unihouse technology". It was addressed to external architects, designers, constructors, but also to enthusiasts of prefabricated construction in a wooden frame.
The training consisted of six thematic sessions. During its first sessions, participants could start from the basics and broaden their knowledge about construction modules and their components. Further, it concerned installations in wooden structures, architectural details, and physics of such constructions. Final presentations concerned the economics of application of modular technology, scheduling the investment and technology related implementation costs. Importantly, following the current sanitary recommendations and the ban on gatherings, the training took place online.
A personal certificate and a dedicated designer manual, which might be an indispensable tool at work, will be delivered to every participant of the training. Unihouse also offers regular consultations on construction design with the course leader.
- We shared a great part of our knowledge and work with the training participants. Modular construction is still gaining popularity. We are happy that we can raise the awareness in the industry and that we actively participate in the development of technology, which, I am convinced, is the future of construction - says the course leader, architect Tomasz Perkowski.
Owing to the great interest, Unihouse will prepare the second edition of the training course. We will keep you updated on the details.
