In Choroszcz 10 single-family, detached, two-family buildings and one service building are being built. The whole investment will be carried out on the basis of modern prefabricated timber-frame technology, which guarantees, among other things, reduction of carbon footprint and fast construction. At the moment, preparations for the foundation slabs are being carried out on Rybacka Street.- says Andrzej Schleser, Member of the Management Board for Commercial Affairs of Polskie Domów Drewnianych S.A.
The construction of houses is made in our factory in Bielsk Podlaski. Only the final assembly and finishing of the buildings will take place on the construction site. Thanks to the optimization of the production process, compared to the traditional technology, work time on the construction site will be reduced even by half. What is important, the use of a renewable raw material, wood, in the skeleton will contribute to the reduction of CO2 emissions, provide a friendly microclimate, good acoustics and energy efficiency of buildings. This type of construction works well in Scandinavian countries. We hope that we will also convince our countrymen that modern, prefabricated wooden construction is durable, precise, safe and environmentally friendly.– says Roman Jakubowski, Sales Director and Board Member of Unihouse S.A.
- Realisation in Choroszcz shows that prefabrication, ecological and low-energy solutions are becoming more and more popular. Modern, high quality wooden housing systems from Unihouse deserve wider recognition and use on the Polish market. Wood, the main material used to manufacture our constructions, is a very good building material, it is also renewable; additionally, we attach great importance to recycling used materials. Today's symbolic spade-drawing is another milestone towards the dissemination of this instant and safe, resident- and environment-friendly technology.
