The 23rd Local Government Forum of Capital and Finance is behind us!
On October 6–7, 2025, the 23rd Local Government Forum of Capital and Finance took place at the International Congress Center in Katowice — the largest event in Poland bringing together leaders from local government, finance, and business.
It’s 22 years of tradition, 19,190 participants, 3,516 speakers, and 1,139 debates and lectures — all focused on exchanging experience and finding practical solutions for municipalities in the fields of housing, municipal management, energy transition, and modern technologies.
During the panel “Sustainable Housing Construction – Ecology, Energy Efficiency, New Technologies”, moderated by Dr. Eng. Krzysztof Kaczorek, Director of the Center for Construction Analysis at the Institute of Applied Research of the Warsaw University of Technology, Kamil Kowalczyk, Member of the Management Board of Unihouse S.A., together with Piotr Woś, Mayor of Karlino, Paweł Fryc, Deputy Mayor of Kamienna Góra, and Janusz Olesiński, President of KTBS, discussed how local governments can support the development of sustainable housing, reduce residents’ living costs, and make use of technologies that promote green investments.
It was substantive, inspiring, and full of valuable insights – our thanks go to the organizers, Municipium SA, and the co-hosts: the City of Katowice and the Upper Silesian-Zagłębie Metropolis, for their professional organization and for creating a space for strategic discussions about the future of local governments and public investments.
